The Doylestown Photography Clubs - 1st Annual Exhibition - April 1st 7 P.M.

Fellow DPC member,

Thank you for entering the Doylestown Photo Club 1st Annual Exhibition. Congratulations to those whose work was selected. For those not selected, we appreciate your submission and want you to continue to be an active part of our exhibitions and to keep moving forward, improving your skills and creativity. During our Thursday monthly meeting we will be having a discussion of further ways to improve works and all about what was selected and why. Thank you all for attending.

DPC gets a 30% commission to be added to the community fund for other shows.

Our meeting will be at Advanced Medical Solutions on April 1st at 7 p.m. We are asking those with accepted images to bring them to be hung at 6:30 p.m. so we can see all the images together and start the curating process.

The meeting will be all about the juried exhibition and the process of choosing images. We will answer any questions during the discussion. At this time we will arranging the art in a specific order to create a visual flow. We will also have a few members discuss their art and have a “post-processing” discussion, importing to future submissions.

The following day, April 2nd will be a public opening from 7-9 p.m. together with a  live duet and food. Please invite all family and friends and plan to attend during the First Friday activities in town. The exhibition will continue for 2 months. All art will be taken down by volunteers on June 1st and returned to you at the June meeting. (Let me know if you can help).
